Collection Cans and Boxes

Our collection cans and boxes play a vital part in Hospice fundraising.  We have over 300 cans in our local community across Edinburgh and the Lothians which helps to raise vital funds from loose change as well as helping to raise awareness of our cause.

We are always on the lookout for somewhere new to display one of our collections cans. You can help support us by placing one of our secure cans within your premises. The Hospice team can allocate you a designated can collector who will drop off your new can and visit you on a regular basis to renew your can and bring the full one back to the Hospice. To find out more about having a collection can in your workplace, please email us or call the fundraising team on 0131 551 1381.

Individuals

Once full, you can bring your box back to the Hospice and collect a new one! Volunteer can collectors

IMG_7035If you are interested in helping raise awareness and increase income for St Columba’s Hospice by becoming a volunteer can collector, we would love to hear from you. We have over 80 collectors who manage the collection of tins across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

As a volunteer can collector, you will be responsible for your assigned collection cans which will be in your local area, visiting every few months to collect their can and return it to the Hospice. This is a flexible role where you can visit the outlets at a time that suits you.

Being a can collector is a great opportunity to get out into your local community and build relationships with local businesses whilst supporting the Hospice.

To find out more please contact the fundraising team on 0131 551 1381 or email us
