In September Marion Gordon and Margaret Mackinnan held a social evening at Leith Ex Servicemen's Club. They are in the photo with just some of the goodies for the raffle. A big thank you to Margaret, Marion everyone who attended and together raised £1,515.00

Irene and Robert Anderson were married at the Kings Manor Hotel on 29th August 2008 and very generously decided to hold a collection in aid of St Columba's in lieu of wedding gifts.

Congratulations to Irene and Robert and a huge thank you to all their family and freinds who raised over £1,100.00 for the Hospice.

John Bunting at Land's End

John Bunting cycled from Lands End to Joh O'Groats . He completed 952 miles in 10 days and raised over £7,000 for the Hospice. There is an account of John's journey in our Autmn Newsletter.

Mhairi McKinlay

10-year-old Mhairi McKinlay and her best friend Jemma marked their grandfather’s birthday with a sponsored walk in support of St. Columba’s. Mhairi and Jemma walked from Ormiston to Pencaitland and back, covering 8 miles and raising more than £262 for the Hospice on a very hot day in June.

Neilson's Numpties

In May this year Margaret, Alex, Linda, Andrew, Alma and Robert (otherwise known as Neilson's Numpties) spent a week walking the 95 miles of the West Highland Way to raise funds for St Columba's.
