Doors Open Days is Scotland’s largest free festival that celebrates heritage and the built environment. It offers free access to over a thousand venues across the country throughout September, every year.

The aim of Doors Open Days is to ensure that Scotland’s built heritage, new and old, is made accessible to people living and visiting the country on weekends in September.

We’re delighted to be part of the 30th anniversary this September and excited to welcome people from across Edinburgh and the Lothians into the Hospice. You can come along to find out more about our services, chat to staff and volunteers and of course, have a look around our wonderful building which looks out across the Firth of Forth.

Our doors will be open to the public on Saturday 28 September from 11am-3pm. Everyone is welcome.
