It is part of a Higher Education Certificate in Care run by Queen Margaret University, but may be taken as a stand-alone module or as taught only. To do this module the student must have access to an appropriate caring environment.

A study day for Nursing Auxiliaries, Health and Social Care Assistants and Support Workers.

This study day aims to facilitate carers in the development of skills which will enhance their delivery of palliative care to patients and their relatives with a life-threatening illness.
