theBigGive St Columba’s Hospice would like to thank everyone who took part in theBigGive Challenge this December. As donations were doubled, our supporters have really maximised the potential of their gifts.
Combining both the Summer and December Challenges, theBigGive process has raised St Columba’s Hospice a total of £66,850. This is an excellent result and the Hospice thanks you for playing a part in the challenge.
The money raised will go towards the cost of rebuilding the Hospice’s facilities. The Hospice is in desperate need of full modernisation to provide us with the capacity to not only continue the level of service we currently provide but also to give us the resources to continue to lead the way in specialist palliative care.
It will cost £26 million to rebuild St Columba’s Hospice and create a new Education Wing that will further enhance our ability to share our knowledge of specialist palliative care throughout the UK and beyond. Patients, their families and clinical staff will all receive huge benefits from the rebuild.
