Christmas is a very special time of year for many of us, and all of the staff and volunteers at the Hospice work extremely hard to make the festive period a very special, memorable and enjoyable time for everyone in our care.
Christmas at the Hospice starts with our annual Light Up A Life Appeal, when we ask you to dedicate a light on our tree of remembrance in memory of someone you have loved.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supports our Light Up A Life appeal which enables us to provide care and support to the Hospice’s patients and their families across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
St Columba’s Hospice will be lighting up its Tree of Remembrance on Monday 11 December 2017 at 6.30pm in Charlotte Square Gardens, Edinburgh.
The lights on the Tree of Remembrance symbolise dedications which have been made in memory of people who have died, making the Tree of Remembrance special to the many people who have made dedications to their loved ones.
The Tree of Remembrance lighting ceremony draws thousands of people and this year the Charlotte Square Gardens will open to spectators from 5.30pm.
Everyone is welcome to come along the Gardens for the service, we would be delighted to see you there!
