A warm invitation to join the North Berwick Compassionate Community in their next "armchair" event on 25 May, sharing stories of how ordinary people live while they are dying.

Following on from the success of our three ‘Armchair Chats’ our next event will take place on Tuesday 25th May at 7pm and is now available to book online via Eventbrite. You’ll find registration and booking information below.

This fourth Chat features Kathryn Mannix, who will talking about her book, 'With the End in Mind' which tells the stories of how ordinary people live while they are dying. Kathryn has been a palliative care doctor for 30 years; working in hospital, hospice and people’s own homes and says, "I want everyone to know more about ordinary dying so we can all be better prepared and less afraid."

The event will also feature live music from Ruth Stapleton, a singer and actress from County Durham who has been working with residents and staff in her local nursing home during the pandemic.

To attend this free event, first register by clicking on the Eventbrite link below and booking your place prior to 25th May.
