It has been fun uploading all of the entries and now its over to our judge Kate Downie to take on the tough job of picking a winner from each age group.  We are delighted that Kate has agreed to judge. You can view her inspiring work and biography here: https://www.katedownie.com/

Compeition details:

We invited all of our junior supporters to take part in our Burns Day Competition with the chance of winning an art tablet!!

The competition is split it into 3 categories according to age:

  • Up to age 6 years
  • 7 years to 11 years
  • 12 years and over

We want you to send us your pictures, poems or anything inspired by Burns, Scotland or Scottish traditions. We will post them all on a special gallery on our website on Burns Day – the 25th January - and then chose a winner from each category! 

Each winner will receive a prize - a fantastic art tablet! Our thanks to the brilliant team at Amazon Edinburgh for donating such great prizes!

To enter – make a small donation here Please mention the Competition when you donate by selecting "other" in the dropdown and popping in "Burns 2021". Remember you can gift aid any donations too (thank you!)

Then send your entries to Claire at cmcintosh@stcolumbashospice.org.uk

All entries need to be in by Sunday 24th January so we can share your poems, pictures and other fab Scottish creations... and then choose our winners!
