We are looking forward to Christmas and we have been thinking a lot about how we can safely reflect, celebrate and remember loved ones within the current government guidelines.

As you might expect, our annual Light Up a Life event will be different this year. We will quietly light up trees in Charlotte Square, Haddington House garden and here in our Hospice grounds, where our families and wider community can enjoy them in their own time.

Towards the end of October you will be able to dedicate a light on our Tree of Remembrance and this year, as we can’t all meet together, we will send you a Hospice candle to light in remembrance at a time and place of your choosing.

Dedications can be made throughout the festive period and our Trees of Remembrance will remain lit from Monday 7th December to Monday 4th January.
