Day HospiceThe Day Hospice provides an informal environment for patients living at home, who would benefit from the support of the experienced palliative care nursing team who are based at the Hospice. We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and transport is provided to bring you to and from the Hospice. Our staff are here to help you manage your symptoms, offer support and advice tailored to your individual needs; your GP remains responsible for your care whilst you are at home. Patients are usually invited to attend one day a week. Complementary Therapies are available on an out-patient basis. Referral to our Day Hospice should be made by the doctor or nurse looking after you. We always ask that your GP has agreed to our involvement before we accept referral.
