Family Support Team Administrative Assistant
Band 2, £17,028 – £19,470 pro-rata per annum + Pension
Part time 22.5 hours per week (Flexible over 4/5 days)
We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join us in a varied and interesting role. You’ll be instrumental in providing secretarial & administrative support to our family support team.
As a valued member of the team, you’ll contribute to the smooth running of the service to enable the team to achieve objectives and meet required deadlines. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for calls both in person and over the telephone, providing assistance and communicating in a professional manner, ensuring enquiries are dealt with in a calm and sensitive way.
This is an excellent opportunity for interested applicants to apply their administrative skills within a busy office environment where there is a wide variety of administrative & clerical duties to be undertaken. This is a very busy position with at times competing priorities therefore good organisational skills are required with a flair for working under pressure at times. Coupled with excellent planning skills ideal candidates will have worked in a similar administrative environment and possess proficient keyboard, word processing & computer skills e.g. updating & maintaining information held on a database and production of a variety of letters, leaflets and other documentation.
The post is part-time and ideally the individual would work over 4 or 5 days per week part-time, although there is some flexibility.
