Taylor Wimpey East Scotland has awarded St Columba’s Hospice with a £1,000 donation as part of its “Built for the community” campaign.

The campaign encouraged residents from across the east of Scotland to vote for their chosen causes, and St Columba’s Hospice was crowned the winner after receiving the most votes from the local community.

Karen Armstrong, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland said: “We are pleased to be able to support St Columba’s Hospice and hope that this donation will enable them to continue, and expand on, their great work.

“We are committed to not only building high quality new homes but also making sure that our developments are sustainable and contribute to local communities. It’s great to see our “Built for the community” campaign raising awareness of the positive work done by charities and community groups in the local area.”

Taylor Wimpey’s most recent campaign encouraged residents from across the east of Scotland to vote between two charities that would benefit from its help. To find out more about the causes that Taylor Wimpey supports, visit www.taylorwimpey.co.uk/media-centre/news.
