We know it’s a challenge finding something new and exciting to keep the kids entertained. The Festival is nearly over, everyone is back to school and the weekends won’t fill themselves. Well, fear not – we have the perfect solution! Why not join us for A Walk to Remember?

A fantastic day in the great outdoors awaits. Taking place on Saturday 1 September, our first ever East Lothian event promises to be a fun day out for all. You can choose to walk 13.5 or 5.5 miles from Portobello or Cockenzie to our finish point in Aberlady, along the stunning East Lothian coastline.

We have designed a fun Scavenger Hunt for kids (and the young at heart!) to complete during the walk and we’re sure it will help keep them entertained. Our activity book is packed full of fun activities – will you be able to spot everything in our Nature Bingo? Find all of the items in our Scavenger Hunt? Take lots of fun photos for our Selfie quest? Plus, all that fresh air is perfect for an early night!

What’s more, everyone who takes part in the Scavenger Hunt will earn themselves a free goody bag at the end of the walk. Along the way there will be other activities to keep everyone entertained, including face painters, free ice cream, the chance to meet our Therapets and more!

This weekend, take advantage of our Summer Sale too. To add to all the fun, kids under 16 go free if they bring along an Adult. Registration for adults is just £15, but we’re giving everyone £5 off this weekend too! Your registration fee includes a t-shirt, medal and refreshments along the way. We ask that kids raise £25 in sponsorship and Adults raise £50 – but don’t worry, we’ll give you lots of hints and tips to get you to your target.

To sign up today and take advantage of our super summer sale, you can head to our online Registration Portal. Don’t forget to use your discount codes:

AWTR5 – £5 off for Adults

Kids0 – Kid’s go free

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 1 September for A Walk to Remember!
